But...Only, God, Can MAKE A Tree

     OK...NOW it's time to begin with the Christmas- Time festivities. With the Thanksgiving-Holiday behind us, once this weekend is over, I will begin decorating the house, and 'trimming' the tree, at least once I've picked this year's, fine, little-fir. As in past, years, since living here, I will 'borrow' a tree, from the bounty, which Mother-Nature provides me, either, from on my property, or, somewhere, else, nearby. Usually, by this point in time, I have, at least, made a selection, or, am considering a tree or two. I'm not sure 'what's up' this year, but, I've not taken the time to do such, as yet. But...it's gonna happen...and, SOON! As tomorrow is the FIRST of DECEMBER, time is of the essence; and, before we know it, Christmas Day will be upon us. So...perhaps, tomorrow, or the next day, I'll, take a stroll, make my choice, and, 'tag' a tree. With the rising cost of X-trees, over the years, having an availability of them, at my fingertips, has been terrific. Besides, it's so, much, more, fun to engage in the process of 'hand-picking' one, and, cutting it down, myself, without having to spend a dime! I must confess, though, that my Christmas Trees are NOT the perfectly-shaped, spectacular-spruces that one, typically, purchases; No, they're, usually, much, more, in the line of a 'Charlie Brown Christmas Tree'; and, for me, this makes my tree just, a touch, more, special. Heck...anybody can decorate a 'perfect-tree', and, make it look beautiful; but, I think it takes a bit, more, creativity to 'doctor-up', what some might refer to as, a 'dud', and, give it an opportunity to SHINE. As I ALWAYS 'root for the 'underdog' ', this is 'right up my alley'. Now, I've gone and gotten myself all excited about the prospect of picking my pine. Can't wait til tomorrow! Just Sayin'...
