Living here, in the Yawgoo Valley, often, the temperatures are, quite, different from other, local, townships; even, sometimes, from a mere, mile up the hill, from my place. I awoke, early, this AM, and, see, by the WeatherBlink indicator, on my laptop, that, it is 33 degrees, here, in the YV; this, a whole 8 degrees cooler than in NK, the next, town over to me, due N.E. Although, there is no frost on the ground, I imagine, that, the temps fell, even, lower, overnight. I sure hope the little-seedlings, that, I felt were ok to plant, are managing well. Guess, I ought to have paid heed to the 'old-farmer's' suggestion on sowing-seed, and, puttin' plants in the soil, which, is, to wait til after Mother's Day, around these, parts. Oh well...once, again, I was over-zealous, with respect to certain, Spring-ritual. My home, and, the other, which sits on the connecting property, occupy the lowest-landscape in the area; thus, we realize this delayed reaction to Spring and Her 'rebirth' of some, specific, perennials. I like this, for, it affords me an opportunity to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the some of the 'buds' for an extended-period; that is, as long as those, which, I 'rushed' into the ground, actually, make it out alive! Wish them luck! Just Sayin'...
