Eagle Scout Pet Food Drive to Benefit Community Pet Food Pantry

Pet food collection boxes have been placed at several local locations in South Kingstown and Narragansett

Joel White, Life Scout of Troop 1 Kingston is leading a pet food drive to support Animal Rescue Rhode Island’s Community Pet Food Pantry for his Eagle Scout project.

Collection boxes have been placed in several locations in South Kingstown and Narragansett in order to accept donations:

Narragansett

Washington County Veterinary Hospital

South County Veterinary Hospital

The boxes will be at these locations until December 21st, 2015.

His next collection day will be Saturday, December 12th from 10am-2pm at Belmont Market in Wakefield.

Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) partners with the Jonnycake Center of Peace Dale to provide emergency assistance to pet owners in need. This is possible through donations of pet food from our community. ARRI’s Community Pet Food Pantry provides food to nearly 50 pets per month.
