I, sometimes, find myself wondering what it is about some folks, and, why, it seems, they prefer focusing on a person's weakness(s), rather than his/her strength(s). Why is it that so many of us, today, appear to, so enjoy, learning of the 'dirty laundry' of others? It appears to me, that, even when a person may have committed some err, or, wrong, in a moment of weakness and poor-judgement, and, though they may well have made good on the bad-behavior from a past infraction, due to his/her own personal -growth and betterment, there are those who seem more fixated on the faults, and, can NEVER find it in their hearts to forgive. At times, when I recognize this lack of forgiveness and tolerance in people, I am, reminded, once again, of the forgiving nature of Jesus, and, am glad to know that He will ALWAYS be here for us, when we are willing to atone for our mistakes Unlike, many, human-beings, who appear unable to find a way to allow those who 'trespass against them', an opportunity to make amends, it is my belief that, Our Forgiving Lord, will and does. We, as humans, err, it is part of the 'nature of the beast', so to speak. We are, also, a part of the Divine-Nature, which is our spiritual-connection to our Higher-Power; and, due to this, have the same ability to be as forgiving as God, if and when we choose to be. When we can call to mind the reality that, we ALL, on occasion, blunder, falter, 'get lost', and, make mistakes, and, when doing so, wish for folks to allow for us to make good on the bad, perhaps, we can find it in our hearts to reciprocate. Remember, that to 'err is HUMAN, but, to forgive...DIVINE.' Just Sayin'...
