Free Family Fun Day!

The Town of South Kingstown is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Tri-Pond Nature Center.  For ten years the Nature Center in South Kingstown has been providing a variety of classes for all ages.  From Pre-school to adult day classes to week long camps, it has housed a plethora of fun!  We would like to have you join us in celebrating what it has become in its first decade.

On Friday evening the 9th,  join us for some frog watching.  We will sit and listen to the natural sounds of the Tri-Pond Park.  Information will be provided on how you too can become a citizen scientist and help the sensitive group of amphibians.  If you bring a flash light you can walk the trails and view the night time life along the winding trails.

On Saturday May 10th, between 10-2 the center will come alive.  We have will Casey Farms on site with their baby animals.  See the new ducks, chicks, turkeys and more!  This will be hands on!  Also on site will be the Roger Williams Park Zoomobile!  They will be showcasing animals from around the area.  Animals from Joyce’s Jungle, and bird encounters with Jackie will be inside the center too.  You can also start your own garden, and Meet Max the Recycling man from DEM.
