Friends...Til The End...

     It's friendship...friendship..that's the perfect 'blend-ship'...In this life, we are very, LUCKY, if we can consider, someone, ONE, special, person, to be a TRUE friend. As the old-expression goes, 'A friend in need, is a friend, indeed.' Knowing that you can rely on someone who will be there for you, whenever, humanly-possible, regardless the reason, is a gift to cherish. As Elbert Hubbard, once said, 'A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the same.' It is a 'rare-find' to be bestowed such a generous, gift, for, as humans, we can, indeed, be difficult. Knowing a person, whom, loves you, and, takes on a relationship, 'the good, the bad, and, the ugly', with the willingness to try, ALWAYS, to see the best, and, capable of accepting the 'less so', with the ability to communicate his/her feelings, freely, regarding disagreement, is a, true, Godsend. Remember, that a TRUE, friend, will, always, 'stab you in the FRONT.' ~ Oscar Wilde ~ My Mom has had the, all, but, incredible, benefit of such a relationship, with her, closest, and, dearest, friend...of 76 YEARS! Imagine that! Most of us, to whom this communication is visible, are NOT even that old! These, two, women, independent of one another, have been through, a great, many, life-crises, they've experienced good time and bad...births and deaths...all that life offers. Throughout it all, they have maintained a perfect-'blend-ship'...a friendship, which, when called upon, remains 'tried and true'. Friendship is a thing to be cherished, and, NOT taken for granted, as, it is, a, rare-find. So...for those of you, fortunate enough, to have such a relationship with someone, be sure to honor that friendship; and, remember...'The only way to have a friend is to be one.' ~
