Girl Scouts earn Highest Awards in Scouting

Girl Scouts Earning Higher Awards

Six Girl Scout from Troop 64 received their Silver Award. Five Girl Scouts from Troop 31 received their Bronze Award at a beautiful ceremony at Camp Hoffman in West Kingston.

To receive your Silver Award in Girl Scouting, a scout must complete a Cadette journey prior to beginning their Silver project. Once the journey is completed, scouts must complete a 50 hour project that leaves a lasting impact on the community.

To receive a Bronze Award, scouts must complete a Junior journey, build and plan a project with a team of other Junior scouts with each scout completing at least 20 hours on the project.
