Happiness...ONLY, And, ALWAYS, A State-Of-Mind...

     When we, continue to, hold others responsible for our, life...our, own, happiness, and, state-of-mind, we are putting an unfair-burden on them, and, shirking our responsibility to ourselves. NOBODY...and, I mean NOBODY else, unless we are being held captive and at gunpoint, is capable of affecting or effecting our life, unless we give them the power to do such. I'm aware of so, many, people, some, whom I know, well, and, love, very much, who seem to think it's 'up to others' to change, so that he or she can be happy. I don't get that...I, honestly, don't; especially, when, after, many, many, years, of knowing someone, he or she, still expects, THAT person to be 'different', rather than to accept who that party is, and, elicit change within him or herself. For as many, years, as I can recall, since, long-ago, 'childhood', I've known in my 'gut', that my life is MY responsibility. In addition, I've striven for my 'ultimate-goal' of genuine, sincere, and, true-happiness, for, equally, as many, years. It's taken awhile to 'get here', through a myriad of 'trials and tribulations', all those challenges, that, if 'they don't kill you, make you stronger'; and, today, I have achieved this, long, sought-after, frame-of- mind and state-of- being. The 'Good-News', is that this 'mastery' of life, is a thing that ALL of us can attain. It's, simply, a matter of realizing our part, in our, own, existence, to make this so, and, altering our attitudes and ideas, as to allow for the acceptance that this is true. We do not need to 'step-outside' of our own heads, hearts, and, spirit, to find the greatest-gift of all; that, which is in each, and, every of us...our, own, individual, unique, and, special-self; the ONE, who can make 'all things right with the world', when one displays the disposition, to do so. Just Sayin'...
