Happy 'HUMP-Day'...

     If today, Wednesday, September 4th, is a special day, for you, one you celebrate, in any way, e.g. a birthday, an anniversary, or, even the fact that it's 'HUMP-Day', Congrats, on that! This date, in history, is associated to a few 'interesting' events, as well. In 1951, the very, first, live-television broadcast was aired, coast to coast, in the U.S. of A.. In 1781, the city of Los Angeles, CA., was founded, and, in 1993, Jim Abbot, a pitcher for the New York Yankees, pitched a 'no-hitter', and, this performed without the benefit of a right-hand, as he was born without his. Pretty cool stuff, if you ask me! However, even if none of this is cause for you to acknowledge today, as a 'special' day, guess what? It is, just the same; in the sense that each and every day is special, as each one, always, affords us the opportunity to renew our inner-selves, to 'right a wrong', or, transgression, acted out against another, or, simply, to appreciate, for it's, exquisite, beauty. With every new sunrise, comes the opportunity for rejoicing, as today, as all others, is a day 'the Lord has made'; a day in which we can grow closer to Him, and, in so doing, closer to ourselves. When we look toward a brand-new day, as the wondrous gift that it is, we will find ourselves 'celebrating' each one. So, as you go about your day, today, take the time to honor it, and, observe it as something marked, memorable, and, momentous...because, it, truly, IS! Just Sayin'...
