Having A 'Rock', When One's World Gets 'Rocked'...

Just last night, it was 50 degrees. I saw a few moths, then; those, last, remaining, 'fighters', taking wing, enjoying their 'last-hurrah', who, today, are flitting about, looking for shelter in this, bit of weather we are experiencing. Life is like that; one day it can be wonderfully, 'warm and sunny', when we feel 'safe and sound', with nary a thing to concern ourselves with, then, suddenly, and, often without much notice, we are struggling against a 'snow-squall', looking for 'protection' from whatever, challenge, confronts us. Other of God's creatures react from instinct, when their 'world gets rocked'; they perform in the only, way(s) they, intrinsically, know. We, as humans, often, do not, intuitively, recognize in which direction to go, when we face our adversities; our 'gut' doesn't tell us. Yet, what I've discovered, over the years, is that we can, always, find a 'safe-haven', or a 'port in any of life's storms' when we rely on Jesus, and, recognize His presence, during our times of need. When we KNOW Him, we understand, in a basic and fundamental manner, how to manage, when life challenges us. Having faith and trust in the Lord, allows for one to 'climb ANY mountain', and, 'swim EVERY sea', all the while, believing that, 'this too, shall pass', and, that our, personal-struggles, although, sometimes, seeming purposeless, do, indeed, have a 'Higher-Purpose', designed to assist us in our personal-growth. Life, frequently, is not an easy thing to bear, with it's many, 'curve-balls', 'gray-clouds', 'lemons', and, other, obstacles, which it presents to us; and, we, each, must 'figure out' a way in which we can cope, move forward, and, understand, when we are confronted with life's challenges. In my existence, today, I do KNOW, 'in my gut', exactly, what I need do, when I face a 'stumbling-block'; I ask my God, who dwells within me, to give me the strength to carry on. And, when the 'storms' of life, threaten my well-being', I will 'take shelter' in the Lord. Just Sayin'...
