I Hate Those 'Meeces' To Pieces! ( Not Really...)

     Living, where I do, which, is, essentially, in the middle of a field, surrounded by woodland, has, over the years, exposed me to a vast number of God's creatures. e.g., deer, skunk, racoons, squirrels, and...RABBITS!. For the most part, we all live, quite, harmoniously, on the shared property. Yet, each year, around this time, some of my 'neighbors', due to the ever, cooling, evenings, find it necessary, to 'move-in' with me and my family; and, they do so, without invitation. These uninvited 'guests', or, should I say PESTS, are the many, numbered, field-mice, who, over time, become so brazen as to 'hang-out' with the 'fam', in broad-daylight; seeming, not at all impacted by their human 'roomies'. REALLY? I was, recently, made aware of the presence of some, (or, at least, one) of these fur-bearing vermin, when, after having fallen asleep on the living-room couch, I awoke to the sound of CHEWING...NOT a good thing! As anyone who knows me well, will contend, I AM a very, generous, person, and, typically, will share anything that I have with anyone I know. I am loving and tolerant of God's creatures; yet, I must draw the line, when it comes to a mouse in my house. SORRY...no can do! And, seeing as the little buggers DON'T respond to my request for them to exit...stage left, I am left with no other choice, but, to 'eliminate' them, if you 'get my drift'. Believe me, it is the very, LAST, thing that I wish to do. However, there, really, is, no other recourse, of course. So...as sad as it makes me to do so, I am forced to utilize 'force'. Presently, this is coming by way of 'd-con' mouse-pellets. In the very, near, future, I will be adopting kitties, but, they're no help to me, at present. So, in the meantime, I'm open to suggestions. If anyone knows of a 'pied-piper', who's lookin' for a bit o' work, PLEASE, let me know! Just Sayin'...
