Salty Brine Beach in Narragansett is being evacuated as the bomb squad investigates a possible explosion near the rocks, according to Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management spokeswoman Rayna Maguire.

Witnesses at the scene shared details of the incident on social media.

According to the Providence Journal, a 50-year-old woman who appeared to be trapped under the rocks had to be taken to South County Hospital.
