Keeping Life In 'Stride'...

It has been said, in life, that, 'if you wish for your children to follow in your footsteps, be, very, careful where you walk'. No matter if one is 'leading the way', or not, for his or her 'charges', it is, still, most, necessary, while, ambling, along, our 'path', in life, to trod, carefully, and, cautiously, to avoid the 'pitfalls' and 'dangers', one will, inevitably, come into contact with, along the way. As we are supposed to be imitators of God, while, here, traversing this 'earth-plane', attempting to follow in the footsteps of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, it is important to try NOT to get 'tripped-up' on the 'bumps' in the road, misstep, or, slip-up, on our course, that, which, can, often, be a 'slippery-slope'. Life is a wondrous thing, filled with wonderful-opportunities, beauty and joy; However, as we know, there are aspects of living a human existence, which, due to the 'nature of the beast', our, 'humanness', we may become 'tempted' to make choices and decisions, that, which, can or may take us down a 'dark'-path, where, it could be very, easy, to become 'lost' in the 'darkness' of our behavior(s). When we, instead, DO choose a path of 'righteousness', in the manner of 'Our Maker' employing the greatest, effort to not 'stumble', even if we DO err, along the way, with Christ as our Leader, it will be easier to get back on track. Temptation is all around us, more so, today, than ever before. Humanity, it, sadly, seems, is being 'beaten-out' by technology, driving people further and further apart, in many ways; and, although, there is a great-deal of goodness, in the world, it seems as though hatred abounds, far, too much, this, making it, for those who 'subscribe' to this, maleficent-malaise of the heart and soul, much, easier to veer off-course, over the course of the journey. When we keep steady, on the road of life, with Christ, as our Leader, there is less opportunity for us to falter. Let's face it...we ALL stumble, and, fall, sometimes. It's in the 'picking-up' and 'dusting-off' of one's-self that matters most! Just Sayin'...
