Kingston's Camp Beach In South Kingstown Reopens For Swimming

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Kingston's Camp Beach in South Kingstown reopened for swimming, the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) said Thursday.

RIDOH recommended closing the beach Monday because of high bacteria levels. Those bacteria counts have since returned to normal.

RIDOH officials said they will continue to monitor and review beach water quality regularly to ensure safe bathing throughout summer.
