Life...Through 'Rose-Coloured' Glasses...

   During this, glorious, time of the year, I, delight in the Nature that surrounds me and my home. Some mornings, my yard is a veritable, feast for the eyes, filled with many, manner of avian-creatures, mammals of varying- variety, and, itty- bitty-insects, and butterflies, flitting about. It can, often, feel as if I've 'stepped-into' an animated, Disney-film, as the 'treasure-trove' of Mother-Nature presents itself, here. This, AM, as I sip coffee, and, anticipate my day, I watch from the window, as a Chipmunk, munches, lazily, in the grass, alongside a Red-Bellied Woodpecker, scavenging for his meal. Other, birds, 'zig' and zag' back and forth from nest to 'wherever' as they busy themselves with their nest-building, and the like. The, Hummingbird-feeders, are 'teeming' with the significant, number of wee-ones, who have returned, this, season, in great numbers, it seems, and, rabbits and squirrels hip-hop and bustle-by as they go about their day. Bearing witness to all of this, 'tickles' me; I am happier, when, Nature and I are living, harmoniously and symbiotically. When 'cleaning' and preparing my yard for the warm-weather Season, I always, 'see-fit' to leave, natural-habitat, available to the creatures, who abound, here, and, am, additionally, surrounded by more, native-flora, all-about the perimeter of my property, which, also, provides them with 'living-quarters' and a 'safe-harbor'. Perhaps, some might suggest, that, I'm 'easily-entertained', as I sit, here, basking in the beauty, that, is my bounty to enjoy. It's, certainly, all a matter of choice, taste, and perspective, to be sure. Yet, I would have to 'beg to differ', if, in fact, it was suggested, that, in garnering, such pleasure from Nature, I was 'wasting my time'. Personally, I cannot fathom of ANYONE, who would, him or herself, NOT realize, such, exquisite-joy from being in such, terrific 'company' as Nature provides; but...Hey...we all see the world from our own eyes. I'm, simply, grateful, that, mine are 'open' to receive such, beauty! Just Sayin'...
