Like a Day at the Beach...

     I'll be going to the beach, tomorrow, for the first time in AGES. I've not the same interest in doing such, as I did, once upon a time, when, then, if I wasn't as 'brown as a berry' by Memorial Day Weekend, I was WAY behind schedule, with respect to tanning. First of all, I don't have the same desire to lay, and fry, all day long; thus, I'll be 'hiding' under a beach-umbrella. Second, my body tolerates the heat, in a completely different way, these days, so....I'm gonna be prayin' for an ocean-breeze...starting NOW! Third, the idea of oiling up, and becoming a 'sand-magnet', is very unappealing. One might ask, then, why it is I'm even contemplating spending a moment sea-side? Well...thankfully, I'll be in the company of folks I adore, otherwise, there'd, really, be no reason to go, as an indoor-swimming-pool does the trick for me, these days. So, armed with beach-umbrella, lounge-chair, and SUN-BLOCK, I'm going to go and enjoy myself...come HELL, or HIGH-WATER. That reminds me...sure hope it's high-tide! Just Sayin'...
