'LISTEN...Do You Want To Know A Secret...?'

     The Universe is, always, influencing our lives, regardless of whether or not we take note of this reality. It sends us messages, that, when we open our mind, heart, and, spirit, we 'hear'; yet, when we're not paying attention, we, might, miss. Once in awhile, this happens in such a way which cannot be ignored. Several, years ago, I had an awareness of, just, such an intercession. Of course, at the time, I did not, automatically, recognize this for what it was; but, over time, I did, in fact, decipher the 'data' I had been sent; this sign, or, communication being, 'SLOW THE HECK DOWN!' This unfolded as the result of my being plagued by disorder; suffering from what, seemed, at the time, a 'mysterious' illness, until the official diagnosis was discovered. This condition of my body changed my life; it stopped me in my tracks. I was bedridden, for a time, after which, I could, barely, walk, without the assistance of a cane. Having, typically, been a, very, physical sort, my life, as I'd, always, known it, was over, and, my world came crashing down. Prior to all of this occurring, my life had been one of extreme challenge, with tremendous stress, resulting. Little did I know that, had I continued down the same road, I may not have 'gotten off so easy', or, perhaps, even survived it. After, many, hours of 'soul-searching' and talks with my Higher-Power, I came to this conclusion. Had I not been 'forced' to alter my lifestyle, and, the, previous, manner in which I'd, formerly, 'handled' my life's difficulties, worse, personal, wear would have, in all likelihood, resulted; I had, in fact, considered 'ending it all'. So, as it turns out, sometimes, happenings in our lives, which we may, initially, perceive to be as negative and unnecessary, actually, result in amazing and insightful opportunities for growth; this personal, philosophy, of mine, running parallel to the saying, 'When God closes a door, He opens a window'. Naturally, this is all, simply, my subjective, opinion, based on my personal experience. However, I'm willing to bet, that if, and, when, you 'listen', and, pay close attention, you'll be able to interpret the 'good word' the Universe is spreading to you. Just Sayin'...
