Missing Any Stuff? The State Police May Have It

State cops want to reunite owners with their stolen property.

Have you been missing your favorite watch? Has your jewelry box been ransacked? Perhaps you walked in to find your home trashed and your flatscreen TV missing from the wall?

Victims of robbery often lose their sense of security and their peace of mind, in addition to  their possessions. While the feeling of being violated may never go away, some robbery victims at least can recover the physical loss a heartless thief has taken.

The Rhode Island State Police wants to reunite owners with possessions that have been stolen from their homes. Working with police forces from around the state, the State Police has recovered items believed to be stolen and is asking the public if they recognize their possessions. Everything from jewelry and watches, to computers, to weapons — even stuffed animals — is on display for their rightful owners to reclaim.

Scan through the attached photos to see if the State Police have recovered any of your stuff. If you can positively identify any of the items as being your property, contact Rhode Island State Police Detective Corporal Peter Chabot at 401-444-1295.
