No News IS Good News!

     So much of what's 'going on' in the world, today, being reported as 'newsworthy', is irrelevant, unimportant, and, completely, BORING, to me. Pray tell, is there, truly, ANYONE, besides Kanye West, who cares that Kim Kardashian posed for a 'selfie' w/out undies? Probably NOT! Yet, this, tid-bit, made the 'news', the other day, along with an entire litany of other, B.S.; and, this is a DAILY occurrence. How is it possible that we have gotten to this sad, state-of-affairs, where, EVERYTHING is reported by the media? Must I be informed each time ANYBODY does ANYTHING? Do I, really, need to know each time a person passes gas in East Overshoe? C'mon, already! Heck, I know that I'm getting older, some might, even, call me a 'dinosaur', and, perhaps, this fact, along with my total distaste in certain things, are the reasons behind my lack of interest in so much of what the media splashes and splays the internet with, these days. Even when one wishes not to be badgered and bludgeoned to death, by the garbage that poses as news, it's right there...smacking you in the face, as soon as you turn on your computer, and, sign on. Every 'search-engine' has it's very, own, news-page, with 'headlines' ranging from asinine to just, plain, SAD! Naturally, simply because the garbage is 'out there' doesn't mean that I have to pay attention to it, and, believe me, I try, very, hard, not to. But, it's very, challenging, I must admit. Not because I'm at all interested; but, simply, because it's THERE! One thing, I know for sure, is this; if, indeed, I am a dinosaur, with respect to my feelings about this topic, and, other, specific, things I take issue with, these days, I would call myself a 'DON'T-GIVE-A-SH*T-A-SAURUS'. Just Sayin'...
