Oh, The Humanity...

     We don't need to be, continuously, reminded, that people, in general, it seems, have lost their way. Yet, it has begun...AGAIN, the articles, and, 'news' stories, highlighting human-kind's UGLY-self. People, punching each other, over a shopping-cart, or, fighting because the person ahead of him/her, got the last item on a store-shelf, during this Season of 'Peace on Earth, Good-Will Toward Mankind'. WOW! It is NO secret that people have lost sight as to what, truly, is meaningful, in this life. When one allows one's self to be 'guided' and, 'herded', as a sheep, lost in a storm, listening to and paying attention to, the wrong, information, all of the B.S., and 'hoopla', touted as important, this is what happens. Rather than owning any, true, sense of self, these poor, slobs, equate material-self-worth, with self-esteem and self-love; this, a sad, state-of-affairs, to say the least. This, pathetic, display, of some of a human-being's worst, behavior, is a 'Tell-All', and, testament to the truth, that, we, as a species, are struggling. On this, first, 'official' shopping day, of X-mas Season, 2013, 'Black-Friday', my heart feels a bit heavy. "Black-Friday', although, referred to as, such, from an economical-perspective, due to it's large volume of shoppers, getting the retailers, 'into the black', by making money, is, aptly, named, for, yet, another reason; this, being the 'darkness' that falls upon the Season, due to the display of some. Although, I refuse to allow the poor, behavior, of others, to affect me, in any deep or profound way, I, still, cannot ignore this 'sign of the times'. It is in these times that I pray for mankind, in general, and hope that one day, these, lost-souls, will 'see the LIGHT'. Just Sayin'...
