On Being A 'LIFE-Saver'...

     We CAN be heroes, all of us; and, it doesn't take much, in the way of personal, sacrifice, to accomplish this. When we are kind to others, or understanding of their concerns...when we 'lend a hand' out of love, and, not, obligation, when we are, simply, 'there' for someone in need, we are doing 'heroic' deeds. A simple, smile, or a pleasant-word to a stranger, goes a long way, 'in God's Book', I'll tell ya that! In this 'day and age', it takes, great, courage and strength to face the world, at large, for, there is SO much that feels 'wrong', about what's going on. We are, constantly, barraged by the media, with the bad and negative occurrences, that continue, day to day. When we DO hear about heroic-deed, performed by someone, it is, typically, due to a GREAT feat, which they participated in...and, this is wonderful-stuff. However, if we focus on the trying to do good, in a world 'gone bad', when we 'rise-above' the 'evil', and, continue on a path of 'Righteousness', this, too, takes, courage, moral-strength, and, perseverance; It takes 'heroism'. Jesus asks us to LOVE one another, in His name, and, one would think this a, fairly, easy, thing to accomplish; Yet...take a look around, obviously, it is NOT so. It would be a far-different world, if this, WAS the case, that's for certain. There are some, who do not subscribe to a 'Higher-Power'; Heck...it's an individual's 'right' to believe what he or she chooses, after all. In this being said, for those of whom do NOT believe in doing good for the sake of their Father, do it, simply, because, it's the RIGHT thing to do. Regardless, of what one's 'motivation' is, an act of kindness will not go unnoticed. And, even if it does...it'll make YOU feel better to have demonstrated the 'generous' act.  Furthermore, you, just, never know how your considerate behavior may impact another. It may be JUST the thing he or she needs, to get them through the day! Just Sayin'...
