Pic of the Day: Nature's Fury over Easton's Beach
Menacing clouds July 29 foretold the storm's power.

Vicky Neville took this photo of ominous storm clouds above Easton’s Beach overlooking Portsmouth, Tiverton and Little Compton on July 29.
The storm flooded streets, damaged limbs, caused power outages and even prompted a tornado warning -- not a watch, but a warning -- in Narrangasett.
These menacing clouds foretold the impending fury Mother Nature was about to deliver to Rhode Island, ending what had been a hazy summery beach day with a blast of wind and rain.
