MOON-Pie In The Sky?

     Today, is not your, typical, 'run of the mill', Friday the 13th, for, it is accompanied, this, day, by a FULL-moon, to boot! This, 'event' of a June, full-moon, has not occurred since June of 1919, with the last, Friday the 13th full-moon, occurring in October 2000. Unfortunately, due to the inclement, weather, we will not have the ability to view this, lunar-event, which, will NOT occur, again, til October 13, 2049. Certainly, there exists the potential for me to experience, this, rarity, on it's next, way round, 35 years from now, in which time I will have achieved the 'ripe ol' age' of 94, as, the women in my family tend to live well, into their 90's. However, if I AM blessed to, STILL, be here, at this, future-time, will I, even, REMEMBER, that, I'd enjoy witnessing this, occurrence? I would LOVE to imagine, that, I will be 'alive 'n' kickin' ' well into my 'elder-years'. I wish to enjoy as MANY years, of this lifetime, as I can, not, unlike the majority of us, I would imagine; Since, most of us do NOT know when 'that' time will come for us, this is a good, thing, in my 'eyes'. Rather than concern myself about WHEN, I, simply, acknowledge, instead, that, this, life, is NOT forever, and, in doing so, I attempt to enjoy each, day, to its fullest. It would be nice, if today, this would include witnessing the full-moon, since it is a 'special' one, AKA a 'Strawberry' moon, named for the fact that it's strawberry season, and Algonquin Native American tribes knew this was the time of year to gather them. It is, also, referred to as the 'Honey' moon, as well. Ok, then...I'm gonna remain hopeful, and, mark my calendar for Friday the 13th, 2049. If any of you, folks, are around, at that time, PLEASE remind me, if you would, that I'd like to see the moon, that, night...just in case I forget to LOOK at the calendar! Just Sayin'...
