Keeping 'CHRIST' In Christianity...

'A 2010 survey, by 'Newsweek', contained some startling statistics: 57 percent of hiring-managers believe an unattractive (but, otherwise, qualified) job candidate would have a harder time getting hired; 84 percent of managers said their bosses would hesitate before hiring a qualified older candidate; 64 percent of hiring- managers said they believe companies should be allowed to hire people based on appearance.' On 'one-hand', these, statistics, are difficult to believe; yet, on the 'other-hand'...not so much; as, regardless, as to how, 'developed' a society we are, with respect to certain aspects, e.g., technology, knowledge, etc., we, are, STILL, very, much, delayed in our, overall, spiritual-evolution, allowing for these, type, 'unfavorable-opinions' to continue to occur; For, all of these, are clear-examples of unacceptable-prejudice. Many folks, although, they avow to be Christian, are among those who wield, this, type, 'hatred' and 'bigotry'; these, conceptions, which, allow for the 'mistreatment' of others, through judgement. If nothing else, I am, a bit, stymied, as to what, some, people, believe Christianity to be; For, as far as I understand, it is founded on the following and teachings of Christ, whom, NEVER, when encountering ANYONE, 'pushed' aside' a soul, simply, because he or she was different. The unfortunate truth, and, reality of this, ongoing form of 'hate-crime' is that we, as a whole, are an, extremely, superficial-society, which, bases the 'value' of a person, more on his or her looks, than, whats 'inside' him or her, with, this, type treatment toward others, resembling NOTHING of Christ's Works. Being an active, Christian- person is less about sitting through a weekly-service, than, it is practicing His tenets each and every day. 'Fellow-shipping', once or twice a week, does not a Christian make, if, throughout the remainder of one's week, one is 'judging' others, or, holding them in 'contempt', due to an inability to accept the differences they may possess. No woman, man, or child, is 'different' in the 'eyes of God', for He loves us ALL the same. And, if we ARE, as many of us proclaim, the Christian-folk we believe ourselves to be, we will follow His lead...walk in His footsteps...and, accept and love others, without judgement, without prejudice, in the way(s) that Jesus does. Just Sayin'...
