Schartner Farms Thanks Community for Support After Fire

Schartner Farms, a local institution that had a big fire Thursday, thanked the community for its support.

The blaze on Thursday burned down the Exeter farm’s main stand.

The owners said they will rebuild.

“In spite of the recent fire we experienced, we have been able to stay positive thanks to all the thoughts, prayers and well wishes many of you have sent us,” they wrote on their Facebook page. “We have also received many stories of memories you have created here at the Farm ... It warms our hearts to know that we’ve played such an integral part in the lives of so many.”
