Three Injured In Crash Involving Special-Needs Van In Exeter
Rhode Island State Police said no one was seriously injured in the crash.
EXETER, RI — Three people were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon following a crash between an SUV and a transport van for people with special needs. Rhode Island State Police said no serious injuries were reported in the crash, which happened on Nooseneck Hill Road at Ten Rod Road around 3:40 p.m.
According to Rhode Island State Police, the SUV crashed into the van, which had two special-needs passengers onboard at the time. The two women, aged 32 and 24, were taken to Kent Hospital, while the van's driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
There were three people in the SUV at the time of the crash, the driver and two other passengers. None were injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated. No other vehicles besides the van and the SUV were involved.
