STILL, 'Following' The Yellow-Brick Road...

...is 'off to see 'The Wizard'; watching, the great, old, classic, 'The Wizard of Oz'. The Season, seems, replete, without it! Although, as a child, growing-up, and, anticipating this 'annual-event', this, outstanding, presentation, of 'moviedom' was, always, shown at Easter-time. I can, sill, recall the very, first, time, I viewed this, wonderfully, fanciful, film, in 'living-color', almost, breathless, at the thought of witnessing the Land of Oz, and, Emerald-City, in other, than, 'black & white'. We, ourselves, did not own a color-television, at the time, and, so, en masse, went to a neighbor's, to gather round their T.V.-set, and, share in the joy of this, much, anticipated, annual, televised-offering. Yes...we, actually, DID, look forward, each year, to watching this, movie; as I know that many, other, families, did, as well. Simpler times? Do I sound like my folks? Probably! But, that's OK...it was bound to happen, sooner or later, as it seems, that's the way it goes, in life. The more things change...the more they stay the same. Just Sayin'...
