Although, I am a very, happy, upbeat, and, positive, kinda gal, I,actually, find myself feeling a bit 'down', this time of the year. In spite of the glory that surrounds me, during this breath-taking season, with it's magnificent color and beauteous, breathable air-quality, I take note, also, of the death that surrounds me, and I get a bit saddened. Of course, I know that all will return, in the advent of next year's Springtime, and, by the Grace of God, I will be here to enjoy that rebirth, once again. But, for now, my sympathetic-self is feeling the mild mournfulness of another year coming to a close. In as much as I typically, shoo away flies and other, such, pesky critters, taking note of them slowing down, and, meeting their demise, causes me to feel a bit of bleakness. Butterflies, bees, dragonflies, and, wasps, are all but gone, for this year, and, recognizing this causes me such sweet sorrow. Yet, instead of allowing my lil' bit of blues to overshadow my day to day, I, instead, call to mind the fact that, as with Christ, dying on the cross, and, being reborn into Eternity, for us, the cycle of life, here, on earth, is similar. For as long as the earth shall spin, and, support life, there will be death...and, new-life springing forth from it; and, this gives me hope.
Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never is, but always to be blessed:
The soul, uneasy and confined from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.
