When we do things for others, extend ourselves to them, perform at gracious, friendly, or obliging acts, give, in any way, of ourselves, with only LOVE and KINDNESS in our hearts, looking for nothing in return, we are serving the Lord. Real LOVE is not self-seeking, in it's display; it is PATIENT, and KIND, and does not look for any, sort of, 'PAYBACK', or, return of favor. Selfless, in it's true-nature' love, also, can be demanding; for, often, the people who need our love the most, may be in the midst of their own 'trials and tribulations', making them a bit, challenging and difficult to avail ourselves to, or, to, even, be around. Yet, these are the occasions which, truly, test, our ability to love, and, to do so in it's most, genuine and pure form. Showing compassion and regard for the people in our life, who need it the most, may, sometimes, put us in a position to ask of ourselves, to summon strength from within, to exhibit the empathy, we wish to exercise. It can be difficult, at best, sometimes, to 'be there', in the 'time(s) of need' we acknowledge in the lives of others. Embracing an attitude, allowing for unselfish, love, of and for others, in our life, is doing God's work. 'Real LOVE is helping others, for Jesus sake, even if they can never return the favor.' ~ Anon So, in keeping in the true, spirit, of this Holiday Season, the time of year for acknowledging our 'fellow-human(s)', and, displaying 'good-will', toward ALL of Human-kind, be more, thoughtful and loving to those whom need it; and, don't forget yourself in the process. Just Sayin'...
