We can all hold out hope that, with each, BRAND-NEW year, will come change...better circumstance for us, but the 'bottom-line', ALWAYS, is this; that, regardless, what the year may 'have in store' for us, it is our attitude, our approach to how we will 'handle things', and, our, personal-perspective, which will determine the way we manage, today...tomorrow...or, even, next year; and, even, though, a year offers us 365 days, we can, but, live them, 'one at a time'...one MOMENT at a time. For those of us, who, with the approach of 2014, wish to resolve to be, more, appreciative, better, and, happier, individuals, in general, it's important to keep this in mind. We can project, all we wish, for the future, and, how we'd love to see it 'play out', but, the truth of the matter is that we, really, have but this moment. When we choose to embrace this reality, and are present in, each, 'point in time', able to be the person we wish to be, this, in my opinion, is when we have attained, the, greatest, of, personal-successes, as an individual. Life offers us the 'bitter' and the 'sweet', sometimes, separate of the other...sometimes, in conjunction with one another. It's easy to find contentment when things are 'easy'...not so much, when things are 'trying'. The 'secret' is in learning to find a healthy-balance, in general, and, in attaining a sense-of-self, strong enough to endure when times get rough, and, 'open' to all that is wonderful in the world, as well. Living, this, human-existence' with the most, favorable, optimal, outcome, requires the right state-of-mind, as it is all about, perception, perspective, and, positivity, even, during, and, ESPECIALLY, during, the difficulties. Once we decide to accept and embrace this philosophy, things, often, get easier...trust me, on this! Some may feel that it's not so simple to do...to have a 'change of heart...to choose a different outlook; Yet, it is, quite, easy, as, EACH and EVERY moment offers us the opportunity to 'shift' our thinking. Implementing a 'new-life', belief-system isn't so challenging, it just takes the desire to do such. As it is that 'practice makes perfect', it's, only, a matter of employing a new, value-system, with the pursuit of wisdom, through moral self-discipline, within each second. If it can be accomplished in one second...then another...and, another, before one realizes it, a new-habit has been formed, and, he or she is living life with a new way of thinking. If you don't believe me...try it out, for yourself. It works! Just Sayin'...
