I, often, wonder, why some folks, who seem to 'have it all', can never exhibit happiness for others, when said people acquire anything, succeed at something, or, gain a thing that they, themselves, don't reap. I must, imagine that, although these 'certain somebodies' would have one believe that 'all is right with the world', this, truly, can't be the case; For, if he or she is unable to find, in him, or, herself, a way to show sincere support for the success of someone else, something must be missing inside of that party. It is my opinion, that, when we are fulfilled, within, and are, genuinely content and satisfied, we are able to offer our appreciation to others, for their good fortune, whatever it may be. However, if we, instead, always, exhibit, envy, or appear jealous of the good-luck, gifts, rewards, or, successes, that others achieve, we are not, honestly, happy, ourselves. Anxiety, fear, and, insecurity are the bane of those whom find it difficult to be happy when other people 'win'. Love, of and for self, brave acceptance of self, and, security, in one's abilities, are the qualities which allow for us to share in the celebration when others, whom we know, do well. We must be happy in our own lives and with our own life-situation(s), before we are capable of a sincere show of support and happiness for someone else. It's important to learn to share in the happiness of another, to be able to delight in his or her celebration, and, not feel threatened by a 'success' that we, ourselves, may not have experienced. When we are able to show this type of loving support, truly, WE are the real winners. Just Sayin'...
