Coordinate Kids While You Still Can

Coordinating your children's outfits only works until a certain age, so take advantage of the opportunity while you can.

While I'm not a big fan of being "matchy, matchy" with my kids, there is something about Christmas that makes it so much more appealing. Perhaps it's because I know that it's not the type of thing you can pull off for very many years, and let's be honest, the holiday pictures are pretty cute when everyone coordinates.

We headed over to to pick out the perfect coordinating outfits for the little ones and all of these picks will last well beyond the holidays. All of the clothing we selected is by Hartstrings. An excellent way to coordinate without going over the top is choose different pieces that are all made by the same brand or designer.

For infant girls, we love the Embroidered Skate Corduroy Jumper ($48) with a Lettuce Edge Turtleneck Bodysuit ($16) paired with a Snowman Hair Clip ($10), Gingerbread Purse ($14), and See Kai Run Black Mary Jane Shoes ($36). Available for ages 0-24 months.

A Melissa & Doug Shih Tzu ($19.99) creates a picture perfect scene.

Anne Streagle, Manager of Michael Hayes for Kids, says these outfits are "really festive but can be used everyday at the same time" which means they will be wearable well beyond the holidays.
