The RI Department of Human Services, Division of Elderly Affairs (DEA), will sponsor an open enrollment information session to help Medicare beneficiaries review their health care and Medicare Prescription Drug (Medicare Part D) plans. Appointments are necessary, though:Â Call 846-7426.
The annual Medicare Open Enrollment Period will run from October 15 through December 7, 2011. Any changes made to health care or Part D plans will become effective on January 1, 2012.
