Fund Established for Man who Died Diving in Newport
Mark Gruchy, 58, died Sunday after his equipment failed while diving near Fort Adams and Ida Lewis Rock.
The family of Mark Gruchy, 58, has established a GoFundMe account to help pay for his funeral costs.

Friends and family members said Guchy was an experienced salvage diver and loved to work on boats.

He was a loving father and husband and “because of this untimely tragedy and our current financial situation we are currently taking donations toward the funeral expenses and arrangements,” family members said on the GoFundMe page.
