New York City Man Arrested After Allegedly Found Lying in Driveway, Screaming

Stephen Ericson Trimble, 39, of New York, NY, was arrested around 5:50 a.m. Thursday on a disorderly conduct charge.

Police were dispatched to a home on Everett Street, where the caller reported that Trimble was lying in his driveway and screaming.

According to the report, police had dealt with Trimble twice before in the evening. Earlier, a woman at another residence had asked police to remove Trimble from her property after he broke a mirror. She did not want to press charges. Then several minutes later, the Dunkin Donuts on Broadway reported that Trimble was inside the store without a shirt or shoes on and wouldn't leave.

Police at the time advised Trimble to return home to 3 Prarie Avenue, where he was said to be staying. But by the time the officer returned to the station, dispatch advised that the resident on Everett Street was reporting that he had been awoken by Trimble, who was lying in his driveway.

Police say they arrived to find Trimble yelling nonsensically into the air. They arrested him and brought him to the station for booking.

Worcester Woman Arrested After Fight with Husband

Cynthia A. Gage, 27, of Worcester, MA, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on a domestic simple assault charge.

Police were dispatched to a home on the 100 block of Bliss Road, where she was said to be in a fight with her husband. Middletown police were already on the scene. According to the report, Gage's husband had an open wound on the tip of his nose and several scratch marks across his chest and abdomen. The man told police that he and Gage had gone out with a mutual friend and drank, then returned home, where they got into an argument and Gage assaulted him. He said he did not strike her in any way.

Gage told police she had only tussled her husband, and when asked about his injuries, said she guessed she needed to trim her nails. Police arrested Gage and brought her to the station for booking.

No-Contact Violation

Shatera Shenipa Richards, 22, of 35 Third Street Apt. 3 in Newport, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on a no-contact order violation. Police were driving south on Connell Highway when they spotted Richards with the individual who they knew had a no-contact order out against her.
