Sen. Whitehouse & Family Will Join Washington Women's March
He's marching arm-in-arm with women, his office says.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse will participate in Saturday's Women’s March on Washington.
Whitehouse will attend the presidential inauguration on Friday. He is not part of the boycott which some Democrats have joined. But the next day he will join the women's march.
“I will march arm-in-arm with women from Rhode Island and across the country to send a clear message to the Trump administration that when it comes to protecting the hard-fought rights of women, we are going forward and not backward,” said Whitehouse. “I will fight back against any attempt to undermine the progress we have made as a nation toward ensuring equal pay for equal work, safeguarding a woman’s right to her own health care decisions, and securing justice for victims of assault.”
