The Jesus Saviour Church Summer Bazaar "7-25 - 7-27"

The Jesus Saviour Church Summer Bazaar is often referred to,
tongue-in-cheek, as the "Portuguese World's Fair of Newport". It is a
big social event on the Jesus Saviour calendar and has been an enormously
popular family outing for the decades. Folks from the surrounding area always look
forward to it each year.

The Jesus Saviour Church Summer Bazaar is a three-night event starting on
Thursday night July 25th, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th,
it’s located in the large church parking lot on Vernon Avenue in Newport. Many
game booths and food concessions are available, including games and prizes for
the little ones.  A large, lighted tent offers the ever-popular Bingo,
there are nightly cash prize drawings, and a grand prize drawing is held on Saturday
night.

The Jesus Saviour Church kitchen offers mouth-watering specialties, including
chourico sandwiches and fava beans.  Hot dogs, hamburgers, fries,
clam cakes, malassadas, Ice Cream, soft drinks and beer & wine are also available.

It's a great time for your entire family please come and enjoy a warm summer
evening, meet old friends and socialize.
