The three-mile Recreational Division will follow the same path with only one lap around Goat Island. Paddlers will be competing for a $1,000 cash purse in the Elite Division and over $3,000 in prizes in the Recreational Division. There will also be a Pre-Race Banquet on Friday night, August 27, at Newport Shipyard, featuring a special presentation.
