Join CCOD, Tim Cranston and the Davisville Library on June 27th for a Davisville History Walk. The walk meets at the library at 10am.

Local Historian, Tim Cranston Hosts Walking Tour of Davisville and the Davis Family Homesteads
Join local historian, Tim Cranston on a walking tour of Davisville and the Davis Family Homesteads. He will share fascinating stories about Davisville, one of North Kingstown’s liveliest villages in its heyday. Learn about the Davis family and the industries that transformed this sleepy village into a bustling community with a busy train depot, numerous shops, its own school house and post office, by the late 1800s.
This walking tour will be held on Saturday, June 27 beginning at 10:00 AM. The starting point is the Davisville Free Library, located at 481 Davisville Road, North Kingstown. For directions and to register call 884-5524. This free event is sponsored by the Concerned Citizens of Davisville, a neighborhood group.
