The Gilbert Stuart Museum is hosting its Artist-in-Residence week from Thursday, May 23 to Monday, May 27th , from  10:00am to 4:00pm or by special arrangement (call the Museum at 294-3001).  Recent Artist-in-Residence art weeks at the Museum have been very successful and many artists have taken advantage of painting on the Museum’s beautiful grounds and entering their art work in the Museum’s art shows which usually run for about a month.

Participating artists and photographers who come to the Museum and paint/photograph on the beautiful Museum grounds are also invited to enter their finished work/s in its Scout County ‘Scapes Art Show and Sale that will open on August 9th in conjunction with the Museum’s gala seasonal event, Paint the Town Red.
