Echotaps 2013

For the last 8 years we have staged this event at the Veterans Cemetery in Exeter........It's called Echotaps 2013.

  We invite all brass players to participate in the sounding of "Taps" the 24 saddest notes in music........

This event is for all ages and playability. Sign in time is at 11:00 am Saturday 18th Armed Forces Day. All players will be situated around the WWll Monument in the middle of the cemetery. About 20 feet apart from eachother. The first player begin at exactly at 12:00 noon and on his 3rd note the next player will begin "Taps" and so on. Over the years we have attracted over 100 players to particpate at this event.

So brush off the dust from your horns and show up for this wonderful event for all ages! Our youngest player last year was 11 years old, and our oldest player was 93.
