On Monday, June 17th, Dr. Frank Heppner will be a guest speaker at the monthly meeting of the East Greenwich Historic Preservation Society. Dr. Heppner is a retired professor of Biology at URI, but his real passion is trains and railroads. He has ridden500,000 miles of trains in 25 countries. Dr. Heppner will speak on railroads of Rhode Island, the title of his newest book.
