Join interior architect and designer Aarti Kathuria to learn how to reuse and repurpose recycled materials, such as fabric, string and wood, in innovative and functional ways. Students will form teams to create a surface, installation or an object out of the provided materials. Pizza will be included for anyone who wants it!

Aarti Kathuria is a designer and interior architect by profession who enjoys teaching and interacting with her students to bring out the best in them. She has worked in the field for over a decade and also has taught digital programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Revit Architecture. She uses the process of creative idea generation and development to teach software, versus a technical manual approach. This process ensures that students' process various commands in
a creative environment. That in turn allows students to use the software, in a more
application based methodology and encourages more exploration. This sense of
experimentation allows the student to continue to grow and learn even after they have exited the classroom!
