Wood-Pawcatuck/Tomaquag Kayak Tour

Narragansett Indians utilized the rivers for many of their daily needs. On this unique program we will start at the Tomaquag Museum in Exeter to learn about traditional uses of the river and examine many of the unique and beautiful museum pieces. Then we will head to the WPWA campus for a paddle up the Wood River to look for plants and animals the Native people may have used. Co-sponsored by the Tomaquag Museum and WPWA. Fee $10 for Museum Tour and additional $10 to use WPWA kayaks for the paddle.

Price: $10.00/person

Kayaks: A limited number of single person 9 foot kayaks are available for this event at a price of $10 for WPWA members or $20 for non-members. Boats may be reserved when you register for the event.
