New at the Gilbert Stuart Museum, Grounds Open for Youth Artists
The Gilbert Stuart Museum invites young artists to participate in a new invitational Youth-Artist-in Residence program that kicks off on Friday. June 28 through Sunday June 30. from 10:00am to 4:00pm. For those 3 days, young artists are invited to come to the Museum to paint/photograph on the Museum grounds and submit their work at a Museum sponsored exhibit the following month, entitled, Gibby’s Gallery, Children’s Art Exhibit. All visitors coming to the Museum for a tour during Gibby’s Gallery week will have the opportunity to view the children’s artwork.

All young artists who wish to come to paint/photograph on the Museum grounds must be accompanied by an adult. A Reception will be held on July 21 at 2:00pm at the Museum to celebrate the opening of Gibby’s Gallery.
