Armed Forces Salute is a community tribute to past and present members of all branches of the U.S. military. Recognition will be given to all veterans and family in the audience. All ages are welcomed. Voluntary donations at the door will be appreciated, with proceeds equally supporting the band’s ongoing free performances and the Providence V.A. Hospital to benefit homeless and needy veterans.
Also performing: vocalist Richard Johnson and R.I. State Bugler Michael Jackson, USAF (Ret.). The program will include flag ceremonies, memorial observances and presentations by a combined-services color guard; Korean War Veterans, West Bay Chapter; Oliver Hazard Perry Rhode Island; Colonial Navy Massachusetts; U.S. Naval Sea Cadets; and Patriot Guard Riders.
Concert is made possible by a grant from Centreville Bank through the North Kingstown Arts Council.
