Long Distance Cruising - Expanding your horizons in a Safe Manner

Bob and Nancy Shore have done extensive cruising. In this seminar, Bob will show slides from a Nova Scotia cruise they took. He will then lead an audience discussion of cruising best practices with an emphasis on fun and safety. Bob and others will share tips on what has worked for them, and will solicit related ideas from others in the audience. This informative seminar focuses on safe cruising outside of your comfort zone. If you are a day sailer, do an overnight in Narragansett Bay. If you have done that, then cruise to Mystic or Cuttyhunk. And once your confidence and experience builds, maybe Nova Scotia or even Fiji.
The presentation will begin at 7:30pm, following a meet-and-greet social period starting at 7pm. The program will be at Wickford Yacht Club and is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.
