Samila Elana Andrade, 22, of 552 Devils Foot Rd., Apt. 305 in North Kingstown was arrested March 2 at 3:40 a.m. on charges of domestic assault, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.
Andrade allegedly got into an argument with her sister after she accused Andrade of drinking while babysitting. According to reports, the sister left the residence for a walk and returned a few hours later and could hear her “talking bad about her” on the phone loudly. When her sister told her to keep it down, Andrade allegedly chased her back into her bedroom.
According to the victim, she told Andrade she was going to call police if she did not calm down, resulting in Andrade telling her, “I’ll stab you if you call police.” Andrade allegedly struck the woman several times in the face. Police noted that neither one of the women had any visible marks or injuries from the alleged altercation. Andrade did, however, allegedly admit to police that she flipped over the couch at one point during the fight.
She was arraigned and transported to the ACI Women’s Intake Center for a probation violation.
