Craig Cook of North Kingstown was selected as the RI Superliga Male coach of the Year for the 2012-2013 season. Coach Cook was the head coach of an Ocean State Soccer u-12 girls' team that won the RI Cup championship in the u12 girl's classic division. Coach Cook has been involved in coaching youth soccer at various levels in addition to being the head of Ocean State Soccer's recreational program for several years.
US Youth Soccer notes that quality of coaching and the culture/philosophy of the club and parents are the two biggest factors in the success of youth player development. Ocean State Soccer congratulates Coach Cook on this recognition.
Ocean State Soccer School is one of the largest youth soccer associations in the state with players from over a dozen RI communities. OSSS offers premier level, travel/competitive, Academy (2-4 graders), and recreational youth soccer opportunities at our own soccer complex in North Kingstown.
