Poetry & Art exhibit

This is the opening reception for Poetry & Art, an exhibition of
contemporary poetry & responsive art. Sponsored by the Wickford Art
Association, a collection of 55 poem by local writers was compiled. 55
juried artist members of the WAA were asked to select a poem from the
submissions & create a piece of art inspired by the poem. The poets
& artists will meet for the first time at this opening reception
where all the poems & artwork will be on display. This collection of
artwork & poems has also
been printed in a book & the book will be available for sale, with a
portion of the proceeds going to benefit the RI Food Bank. If you're
unable to make the opening, the exhibit will be open to the public
